Govori Terms of Service
Note: These Terms apply to the Govori iOS application published by Bulsu Labs (BLS Logistics and Storage d.o.o.). For questions, email info@bulsulabs.com.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Govori mobile application (the "App"), a Duolingo-style learning app for the Montenegrin language, operated by Bulsu Labs ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Govori, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
Govori is suitable for all ages, including children, when used under appropriate parental supervision for in-app purchases. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App and that any subscription purchase has been authorized by your parent or guardian.
2. No Account Required
Govori does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. All your learning progress is stored locally on your device. There is no login, no password, and no profile to maintain.
Because there is no account, your data is tied to the app installation on your device. Uninstalling the app or restoring from a backup that does not include app data will reset your progress.
3. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
Govori offers the following subscription plans, billed through your Apple App Store account:
- Monthly: $2.99 / month
- Yearly: $19.99 / year (best value, save 44%)
Free users get the first 3 units, Cyrillic alphabet practice, and basic lessons. Govori Pro unlocks units 4 and above, the AI Chat companion, all Practice modes, and interactive Stories.
Auto-renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's App Store account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
Refunds
- Refund requests must be made directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds on Apple's behalf.
- No refund is provided for the unused portion of a subscription term.
Price changes
- We may change subscription prices. Any price change will be communicated to you in advance and will only apply to future billing periods. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
4. License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Govori for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its lesson content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or abuse our paywalls, rate limits, or premium gating.
- Share your subscription with others or resell access to the service.
- Republish or commercially redistribute lesson content, exercises, audio, or illustrations.
5. Educational Disclaimer
Govori is an educational language-learning tool. It is not a certified language instruction program and does not issue any official language qualification or diploma.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure linguistic accuracy of the Montenegrin content, language is naturally evolving and regional variations exist. We do not warrant that the content is exhaustive, error-free, or sufficient for any specific certification, professional, academic, or immigration purpose.
For any official language certification, consult an accredited educational institution or language exam body.
6. User Content & Privacy
Govori does not collect or store any text or voice content you produce in the App. Spoken pronunciation is processed entirely on-device by Apple's speech recognition framework. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, branding, text, graphics, logos, icons, mascot, illustrations, lesson content, audio, and software are owned by Bulsu Labs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
"Govori" and the Govori mascot are trademarks of Bulsu Labs.
Lucide icons and certain open source libraries are used under their respective licenses. Fonts (Nunito, Outfit) are loaded from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
8. Third-Party Services
Govori integrates with RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple App Store (payments), and Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- The lesson content will be sufficient for your specific learning goals.
- The App will meet your expectations or produce any particular result.
- Speech recognition will accurately evaluate every pronunciation in every accent or environment.
You use the App at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Bulsu Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulsu Labs from any claim, liability, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored progress.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.
Sections 5 (Educational Disclaimer), 7 (IP), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using the App and uninstall it.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Podgorica, Montenegro.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
15. Apple App Store Additional Terms
This App is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this license. You and Apple acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Bulsu Labs, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Bulsu Labs is responsible for product claims, legal and regulatory requirements, and intellectual property claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
